WebSoundArt workshop #1: Live-Coding Sound with Mini-Tidal by Celeste Betancur

WebSoundArt is a brand-new online platform and community for web-based sound art.

In our first workshop, Celeste Betancur gives an introduction to programming with the live-coding language Mini-Tidal. We will end the workshop with a collaborative jam-session.

Estuary is a platform for collaborative live coding including developing for the browser using the functional programming language Haskell while scaling up to a language-neutral or multi-lingual approach. The workshop will cover strategies for online jamming and ensembles and will be an introduction to Tidalcycles. No prior experience necessary! A laptop or computer and headphones is required to participate.
