Call for 2023 Sustainability Labs at PAM CUT

  • Location: Portland, Oregon
  • Deadline: Jul 1 2023 at 5:00PM

**35$ fee to apply

The Portland Art Museum's Center for an Untold Tomorrow (PAM CUT) is currently taking applications for the 2023 Sustainability Labs. Now in its third year and partially funded by the NEA, the Sustainability Labs focuses on Mid-Career artists working in film, television, animation, xr, podcasting, gaming, and multidisciplinary storytelling practices. Rather than being project driven, the Sustainability Labs take a holistic approach in working to provide more direct guidance and direction for our fellows as they continue to navigate an ever evolving creative industry. Fellows will work with mentors, guest presenters, peers, a life coach and also receive a $3000 honorarium. The labs take place over the course of several months beginning with a one week intensive the week of October 16 - 21 in Portland Oregon at the PAM CUT facilities and ending the following year with fellows presenting work to industry professionals and press at the Cinema Unbound Awards.
