We invite artists interested in augmented reality and with connections to local Toronto neighborhoods to apply to take part in a multi-site AR storefront window exhibition.
Accepted artists will create window designs to be installed at local Toronto storefronts, and the animations and/or 3D objects to be activated through AR. Exhibited artworks will be developed with workshop support from May – July. Please note this opportunity is looking for artists to make artwork specific to this program, although we welcome the adaptation of existing artworks or projects.
Familiarity with augmented reality, animation, and 3D modeling softwares is encouraged, but applicants are not expected to be advanced in their knowledge. This program will use Artivive, an entry-level platform, to support AR activation, and artists will be supported through educational materials to learn the platform.
